Darrell Harper was taken into custody for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone and evading arrest. According to KETK, officers were conducting a patrol for narcotics in the area of Tenery Street as part of &#8220;Operation Cold Turkey&#8221; when one of them spotted a black Ford Crown Victoria with an expired registration sticker. An officer attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver sped off. After a short chase, the vehicle stopped and the driver exited and attempted to hide in another parked vehicle. Harper was apprehended on the spot.
