The information is found in the the seventh annual County Health Rankings. It&#8217;s prepared by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. Smith County ranked 76 out of 241 counties for Health Outcomes \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Today\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Health and 88 out of 241 in Health Factors \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Tomorrow\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Health. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>According to the report released by the Northeast Texas Public Health District and Smith County, the rankings illustrate in a powerful way that where you live can influence how well and how long you live. And local health officials say, while we have taken important steps to improve the health of our community, there is more we can do to help our residents lead healthier lives.
