According to KETK, the AlleyFest committee says The Longview Main Street program and the One Hundred Acres of Heritage Committee appreciate the support the event&#8217;s received over the years.<!--more-->   <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Alley Art&#8221; started as an artist-focused event in the alleyway in downtown Longview. It grew and grew to later become a full three-day festival including art, Alley Run, sand volleyball, basketball, KidsFest and major headliner concerts.  But the committee says the event&#8217;s popularity slowly declined in recent years and committee members decided to start focusing on other ventures.
