According to KETK, the wreck happened just after midnight Saturday on State Highway 31, about 10 miles west of Tyler. DPS Troopers said the driver, Ponciano Aguilar, 32, lost control and ran off the road. His truck then flipped multiple times ejecting him and his passenger, Israel Alvarez, 20. Aguilar died at the scene. Alvarez was taken to the hospital, his condition unknown.
