The lawsuit says only a fraction of the hundreds of millions of dollars raised by Gospel for Asia makes it to the needy. Instead, the suit claims the group is lavishing itself with a 350-acre, multi-million-dollar compound in Van Zandt County. The website pleads for donors to select a project for their money, usually something in India. Attorney Tom Mills says Gospel for Asia misdirects most of its money to the group leaders.
