Saturday&#8217;s rains caused a washout of the road. The road has been shut down, requiring detours.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Kathi White with TxDOT says the incident occurred at a drainage structure causing washout of the westbound lane embankment and slope. Portable lighting was delivered to the site to<br \/>\nenable crews to work through the night. The repairs are expected to take another day or two.
