It happened around 3:15 Monday afternoon in front of the River Oaks Apartments on Highway 110 South. Tyler police say a northbound truck hit Robert Allan Moore, 77,  who was crossing from the west side of the Troup Highway, heading toward the apartments. Moore was transported to East Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
