According to KETK, officials say Hinshaw had been on paid administrative leave for the past several weeks, since initial allegations of domestic violence were made against him.  The alleged incident took place at a residence in Smith County, and the Smith County Sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Office is handling the investigation. Hinshaw was indicted on two 3rd degree felony charges, assault family violence and tampering with a witness. The city says Hinshaw will remain on unpaid administrative leave pending an internal policy review.
