Tyler officials say the Solid Waste Department may not pick up all bags during customers&#8217; regularly scheduled pick-up days. They say that&#8217;s to alleviate the safety concerns of having residential crews working late into the evening due to the increase in garbage collection,  If a residence has excessive bags of leaves, an alternate truck may be used to complete the route on a different day.  <\/p>\n<p>For residents who would like to try an alternative to bagging leaves, compost bins are available through the Solid Waste Department and may be purchased for $60.
