That&#8217;s according to KETK.  Huckabee&#8217;s resignation as city manager was announced Monday night at a called city council meeting. Following an executive session, the city council voted to accept Huckabee&#8217;s resignation. In a statement released by Huckabee, he said he felt his mission with the city hand been hindered by, what he called, &#8220;malicious, untruthful statements&#8221; made back in May by a Texas Municipal Police Association representative. He said he would continue to combat the false statements.
