According to KETK, Ashli Marie Acker Dansby pleaded guilty Tuesday on a charge of failure to stop and render aid after an accident involving bodily injury. Dansby is news director for KMHT Radio in Marshall.<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>On July 18, a woman was walking down the middle turn lane of Victory Drive in Marshall with no street lighting and her fiance at her side. The woman was hit by a vehicle driven by Dansby while she was legally moving into the turn lane. Dansby was headed home at the time.  Officials said the victim&#8217;s fiance began yelling for Dansby to stop or come back. Dansby continued to her home, where a 911 call was made to report the accident at around 1:25 a.m.  The victim was hospitalized for about two weeks. It was also later determined the woman was intoxicated the night of the accident.  Dansby turned herself in to police a few days after the accident.
