Potter was reported missing to the Smith County Sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Office on April 22.  According to family members, it was not uncommon for him to not be seen or heard from for weeks at a time.  On Tuesday around 3:15 p.m., sheriff\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s deputies responded to a suspicious circumstance call from someone who had discovered the remains on his property.
