KETK reports the injury occurred on FM 968 near the Shady Grove mobile home park.  The Gregg County Sheriff&#8217;s Office says Chief Wesley Freeman suffered head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.  Harrison County Lt. Jay Webb said Freeman was dragged behind a truck. A pursuit of the vehicle began around noon and lasted for about 40 minutes. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Webb said the driver &#8220;led everybody on a wild chase.&#8221; The woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, was spotted at the intersection of FM 968 and FM 450 in Hallsville.  Authorities chased the truck east on 968 until reaching a dead end on FM 325. The driver then jumped a median to get onto I-20 West.  She was eventually stopped when a driver slowed a vehicle in front of the truck. Law enforcement officials were able to catch up and box in the vehicle on I-20 in Harrison County. The woman was taken into custody without incident.  Spike strips were used during the chase but were unsuccessful.
