On September 22, the Longview Police Department, partnering with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) and Longview Partners in Prevention, conducted off-premise and on-premise minor stings at area retailers to validate compliance with Texas law prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors.<\/p>\n<p>43 different alcohol retailers were checked by the undercover team.  Of those 43 retailers, ten of them sold alcohol to the undercover minors.  The locations that sold to minors were:<\/p>\n<p>1.\t522 W. Marshall Avenue \u2013 Don\u2019s<br \/>\n2.\t1929 Hwy 80 East \u2013 Tiger Mart of Longview<br \/>\n3.\t518 Loop 281 East \u2013 Wing Stop<br \/>\n4.\t2002 Judson Road \u2013 GZ Social Club<br \/>\n5.\t701 S. Eastman Road \u2013 Kwick Food Mart<br \/>\n6.\t101 Loop 281 West \u2013 Applebee\u2019s Neighborhood Grill &#038; Bar<br \/>\n7.\t301 Loop 281 West \u2013 Dudley\u2019s Cajun Caf\u00e9<br \/>\n8.\t514 S. Eastman Road \u2013 Easy Access<br \/>\n9.\t1001 Young Street \u2013 Cowboy\u2019s # 13<br \/>\n10.\t1442 McCann Road \u2013 El Sombrero<\/p>\n<p>At these locations the individuals that sold alcohol to the undercover minor were listed in offense reports for \u201cmaking alcohol available to a minor\u201d.  This offense is a class A misdemeanor and the reports will be filed with the Gregg County District Attorney\u2019s Office for prosecution.
