According to KETK, Anderson County Sheriff Greg Taylor says a man was shot several times in his vehicle around 8:20 a.m. Tuesday morning.  It happened at a gas station at the intersection of Highway 287 and Highway 19, north of Palestine.  The victim was flown to a Tyler hospital, where he is believed to be in stable condition. The victim is described as a 30-year-old Hispanic male. He had gunshot wounds to his upper body and leg.<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>Officials say the suspect was able to leave the scene before law enforcement arrived. Through witness and victim testimonies, authorities were able to identify the suspect as 38-year-old Jorge Fernandez.  The alleged gunman was quickly arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to authorities.
