The governor&#8217;s office has announced the appointment of Dr. Jay Steven Herrington to the post. The appointment is for a term set to expire on February 1, 2021.  The appointment is subject to Senate confirmation. Dr. Herrington is currently a managing partner at Herrington &#038; Langley Restorative &#038; Implant Dentistry in Palestine. He is a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry, and the International Team for Implantology.
