Rick Berry owns a home off the road and is very concerned about the effects of the road closure.  According to Berry, &#8220;It is really the only major route across the northern part of Panola County east-west.&#8221;  Berry says meetings surrounding the closure took place in Austin, and the public had no opportunity for input. The move was approved by the Panola County Commissioners Court.
