Authorities say police, fire, and EMS personnel responded to 6312 Springbrook Drive in Tyler shortly after 10:45 Saturday morning in reference to an infant who was not responsive. The mother told police that she was sleeping in her bed with her 8-month-old son and upon waking at around 10:30 found him cold and unresponsive. EMS responded but the child was found to be deceased.
