It happened just before 6:15 Friday night on U.S. Highway 175, about 3\u00c2\u00bd miles northwest of Jacksonville. Dead at the scene was Larry Hinton, 63, of Jacksonville. Injured was Jerry Houser, 56, of Jacksonville. He was flown to Tyler\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s East Texas Medical Center for treatment. The Department of Public Safety reports Houser was traveling northwest when he left the road and lost control.
