According to KETK, police released the audio recordings between Kristiana Coignard and police to the Longview News-Journal on Thursday. You can go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bgebKb1Io8o\" rel=\"nofollow\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bgebKb1Io8o<\/a> to listen to the audio. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The transcript is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Police: &#8220;Dispatch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coignard: \u201cHi, I\u2019m in the lobby, and I need some help.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police: \u201cOK, what kind of help do you need?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coignard then hangs up the phone.<\/p>\n<p>According to the LNJ, dispatchers called the lobby phone back until Coignard answered.<\/p>\n<p>Police:  \u201cMa\u2019am, did you just call saying that you need some assistance?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coignard:  \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Police: \u201cWhat kind of assistance do you need?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coignard hung up the phone a second time.<\/p>\n<p>Soon thereafter, a confrontation began in the lobby.  During the incident, Coignard was shot by police after she allegedly indicated she had a gun and reportedly tried to pull a large butcher knife out of her waistband. Family members have said the 17-year-old suffered from mental illness.
