Governor Dan Patrick&#8217;s newly-created Grassroots Advisory Board.  In 2011, then-Senator Patrick created the Tea Party Caucus of the Texas Legislature and its citizen advisory committee. The caucus met regularly with members of the advisory committee to discuss public policy. Today, Patrick continues his practice of coordinating with grassroots leaders, according to a news release from his office.  <!--more-->   <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am honored to be selected to serve on the Lt.
