Two persons died in one of the crashes. They are identified as Mauricio Cardoza, 42, of Juarez, Mexico and Roberto Chavira, 35, of San Elizario, Texas. They were in a west bound box truck that is said to have hit a tractor-trailer rig that was parked on the shoulder of the road.  The crash happened around 7:30 Friday morning. One of the two persons in the 18 wheeler was taken to a Longview hospital. The first accident occurred some 6 \u00bd before the fatal wreck. The first accident involved two 18-wheelers, both of which caught fire. No injuries were reported in that wreck.
