KETK reports that shortly before 4:30 p.m. Monday, officers stopped a minivan with a male driver and two female passengers in the 4200 block of Highway 287.   When authorities approached the vehicle, they reportedly noticed a secretive movement, believed to be concealing contraband by the back seat female passenger. The driver and passengers then gave consent to search the vehicle. The two front seat passengers were not found in possession of any drugs and were later released. <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>When police spoke with the 26-year-old back seat female passenger from Fairfield, Texas, she was asked to step out of the minivan. Authorities say they were able to find drug paraphernalia, including scales and plastic baggies, in her possession. The woman was then arrested on the misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.  A further search allegedly revealed baggies of an additional amount of 7.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine. The woman was taken to the Anderson County Jail, where she was ultimately charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
