KETK reports Judge Mike Smith set Devonte Xavier Benjamin&#8217;s bond at $35,000 for each charge. He was booked into jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm in a weapons free zone.  Marshall PD spokeswoman Sonya Johnson stated 911 received a call reporting gunfire at about 3:41 p.m. When police responded to the scene, located at the corner of Carters Ferry and Billups, they found a man with a gunshot wound.
