To increase safety and traffic flow, a continuous two-way left turn median has been provided, officials say. This new median offers a designated safe way for vehicles making left turns at intersections and driveways, according to a news release. The reconfigured roadway provides one or more eastbound lanes, two westbound lanes, and a continuous center turn lane.
