QUITMAN \u2013 A student at Quitman\u2019s middle school has been suspended after bringing a steak knife to school. The incident happened around noon Tuesday when school officials when the student displayed the knife and made threats with it. School Superintendent said in a letter on the school district\u2019s web page, \u201cThe student was immediately confined and the weapon was confiscated without incident. No students or staff were injured.\u201d Turner said \u201cThis is a violation of district policy and student code of conduct.
