A spokeswoman for U.S. Rep. Ralph Hall said Monday that the Texas Republican continues to recover in Medical Center of Plano after surgery. A hospital spokeswoman said Hall&#8217;s condition was stable late Monday. The 91-year-old congressman, whose district once included Smith County, was airlifted to the hospital Saturday after suffering a hip injury and minor cuts and bruises when a car turned in front of his vehicle in Trenton, about 60 miles northeast of Dallas. The drivers were not injured. Hall lost a 4th Congressional District primary challenge in a Republican runoff election in May.
