According to KETK, DPS said the one-vehicle crash happened around 1 a.m. off 110 near the intersection of County Road 4701. The driver, Blake Larrew, 28, of Tyler, was turning left onto 4701 during wet road conditions when he failed to make the turn. His car left the right side of the road and struck a tree, catching fire.  At 3:12 a.m., Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Judge Vera Foreman pronounced Larrew dead at the scene. The body was take to Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home in Troup.
