The Tyler Police Department along with DEA received 22 full boxes of expired medication totaling 444 pounds, according to a police news release. The Police Department joined the pharmacy and the DEA in hosting the event. Residents were encouraged just to drive up and drop off unused and expired medications for safe disposal without getting out of their vehicles \u2014 \u201cno questions asked.\u201d According to police, it is important to clean out your medicine cabinet, especially if you have children.
