Placed in the Gregg County Jail under a $50,000 bond was Ryan Alan Pease II, 29, of Longview. The complaint is assault against a family member by impeding breath or strangulation. According to KETK, Pease&#8217;s ex-fiance called him a &#8220;liar&#8221; during an argument over a cell phone. Police say that&#8217;s when Pease choked the woman until she became dizzy, and then he threw her into a closet.
