It happened around 2:30 on Hwy 31 near CR 246. According to the Department of Public Safety report, Melissa Tucker, 43, was headed east when her vehicle rear-ended another vehicle as the lanes merged. The report indicated that the impact forced Tucker&#8217;s car into oncoming traffic where she was struck head-on. Tucker reportedly died at the scene.
