\"thumb_MotherFrances-sign-2\"<\/a>TYLER \u2013 Tyler ContinueCARE Hospital was recently recognized with an Excellence Through Insight award for \u201cOverall Physician Satisfaction\u201d by HealthStream, Inc. According to a news release from Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals and Clinics, Tyler ContinueCARE was awarded the honor for commitment to excellence in medical staff satisfaction. To qualify for an award, a hospital must have been a medical staff satisfaction client of HealthStream in 2013, scored in the 75th percentile or higher, and conducted a minimum of 50 physician surveys. Tyler ContinueCARE was chosen for receiving the highest ratings in medical staff satisfaction from among HealthStream\u2019s clients, as well as for exceeding industry standards. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think this award really exemplifies the culture of caring for the patient first, with the partnership of the physicians,\u201d said Stephanie Hyde, RN, MSN, CEO of Tyler ContinueCARE Hospital. \u201cThrough that partnership we can ensure we provide quality care to the patient through a difficult or complicated, long-term illness requiring hospitalization of more than 25 days. For the partnership to be successful, it requires diligent teamwork between clinical staff and physicians. Studies show when the physician is satisfied, the patient is much more satisfied with the care they receive. The physician is confident in clinical staff managing the care of the patient, and feels comfortable in that facility as his or her support when caring for their patients.\u201d<\/p>\n

HealthStream CEO Robert A. Winners will be recognized during an Awards Dinner at the HealthStream Leading Innovation Patient Experience conference in September in New Orleans, Louisiana.<\/p>\n
