Local officials are urging people to keep safety in mind when they&#8217;re getting their hands on fireworks. They&#8217;re fun and it&#8217;s also important to know how dangerous they could be. According to KETK, there&#8217;s a city ordinance that bands fireworks, possession or the use of.  &#8220;It&#8217;s a Class C Misdemeanor, we can issue a citation if the officer feels it&#8217;s necessary and it could be up to a 500 dollar fine,&#8221; said Don Martin, Tyler Police, Public Information Officer.
