KETK reports calls may appear to be from a local business or even someone you know. When answered, the call goes to a recording that asks for credit card verification. The BBB\u2019s Mechele Mills says, \u201cYou can always call them back after actually confirming who made the call, and always remember never to give out your personal or financial information to somebody who initiates a call with you.
