According to KETK, planners are hoping for more of an &#8220;urban feel.&#8221;   Blue &#8220;Midtown&#8221; street signs have already started popping up &#8212; but that&#8217;s just the beginning.   Midtown is the area that runs from Front to Fifth &#8212; from hospitals to the college scene.   Seeing everything come together has developers excited.   Planners are looking at the possibility of mid- to higher density.  For example, in the bottom level of a multi-story building you could see retail and restaurants, and maybe some residential space above that.    Other long-term possibilities include a more pedestrian-friendly environment.
