According to TxDOT&#8217;s Larry Krantz, &#8220;We will try to work westbound in the same limits on Friday.  We will try to finish eastbound work in the same limits on Monday.&#8221;  Krantz says the project involves several days of base and pavement repairs along the stretch. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in and around the work area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on workdays, so motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible to avoid lengthy delays during those times.
