KETK reports that according to DPS Trooper Jean Dark, the driver, Christopher Blake Lucas, 26, was killed Saturday evening in a chase off Farm Road 346 near County Road 188 in Bullard. A passenger, Travis Allen Holley, 24, is currently in serious condition at a local hospital.<!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>The incident took place at around 7:30pm. According to troopers, that\u2019s when they attempted to pull the pair over for a traffic signal violation and a chase ensued. Officials say the pursuit lasted for several minutes until a a set of spike strips popped three tires. The driver reportedly kept going and eventually wrecked out, flipping the vehicle multiple times. Authorities say they found 4 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.
