After a 2\u00bd-hour executive session, the school board Wednesday named Horace Williams as the school\u2019s chief officer. The district must now wait 21 days before making the selection official. The search for a new leader has been going on for the past six months. Superintendent James Wilcox announced last November he would be leaving the district by January 2015. Williams is a native of Leverett\u2019s Chapel.
