It happened around 9:30 Sunday morning at 215 North Beckham. Officers learned that a Hispanic male, identified as Juan Francisco Oliva, 50, attacked another Hispanic male with a knife cutting the victim&#8217;s right hand. The suspect was still at the scene when officers arrived and was taken into custody. The victim, identified as Juan Benegas, 32, of Tyler, received a cut to his right hand which did not require immediate medical attention.
