Our news partner KETK reports Nickolas\u2019s new home will be south of Nacogdoches. According to the The Humane Society, Nickolas was in danger of being euthanized after not being fostered or adopted. Officials say the Humane Society shelter is full due to the storms from Monday night, and until late Tuesday afternoon, Nickolas had yet to be adopted or fostered to keep him out of the shelter. Nickolas was scheduled to be euthanized at noon Tuesday, but after a call from KETK, the euthanization was put on hold until 8:00 this morning.
