Townsquare media made Tyler history with the first ever Red Dirt Festival. Fifteen BBQ restaurants from across the state traveled to Tyler to showcase their ribs, sausage, and brisket. &#8220;Texas BBQ has always been a great tradition for decades, but over the past few years its really exploded with popularity,&#8221; said Chase Colston with Townsquare media.  Famous restaurants from as close as Stanley&#8217;s in Tyler, and as far as famous ones in Austin gave East Texans a chance to try out their tasty menus.
