The clinics are intended to give parents an opportunity to update their children\u2019s required school immunizations before the last minute rush in August.   \u201cThe more people who are immunized, the less chance of vaccine-preventable diseases,\u201d Sylvia Warren, immunization and TB director with NET Health, said. \u201cWaiting until August will cause nothing but long waiting periods, frustration and anger. This can all be avoided if parents take this opportunity to get their children\u2019s vaccinations now.\u201d   <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Parents whose students are covered by Medicaid and CHIP must present their cards at the time of service and there is no charge for the vaccines. Parents with Blue Cross Blue Shield or Cigna insurers must call the NET Health clinic ahead of time to verify insurance coverage. A fee of $10.00 for each vaccine will be collected at the time of service for those without health insurance.
