The Department of Public Safety says the accident happened shortly before 4:45 Saturday afternoon on Interstate Highway 20, near U.S. Highway 271, about 8 miles north of Tyler. Dead at the scene was a Dallas couple, Eddie Eugene Allison, 47, and Kamesha Shardae Allison. The Department of Public Safety reports the accident occurred when the couple\u2019s motorcycle hit the rear of a tractor-trailer rig.
