\"TxDOT<\/a>TYLER — Here’s a quick look at other work planned in Smith County by the Tyler District of the Texas Department of Transportation. <\/p>\n

SMITH COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews on Monday are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs on westbound Interstate Highway 20 near the US 271 overpass, then move to perform one-day’s work on eastbound I-20 between U.S. Highway 69 and Lavender Road. Once the work is completed on I-20, crews are scheduled to move to perform the same work on State Highway 135 between Troup and Arp. A second crew is scheduled to continue edge work on Farm Road 15 between Troup and the Rusk County Line. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress. Motorists are encouraged to be prepared to reduce speed and merge in and around the work zone. <\/p>\n

GREGG COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make base and pavement repairs in various locations on Farm Road 2204 between Kilgore and Lakeport, followed by the same work on Farm Road 3272 in White Oak. Daytime lane closures will be in effect in each location while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic in two-lane areas. <\/p>\n

HENDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform resurfacing operations on U.S. Highway 175 between Farm Road 804 east of Athens and Farm Road 315 in Poynor. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.<\/p>\n

CHEROKEE COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs in various locations on SE Loop 456 in Jacksonville between U.S. Highway 69 south and State Highway 204. A second crew is scheduled to continue shoulder work on State Highway 204 between Loop 456 in Jacksonville and State Highway 110 in Ponta. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

ANDERSON COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue base and pavement repairs on U.S. Highway 287 between State Highway 294 in Elkhart and the Houston County Line. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

WOOD COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to make edge repairs on Farm Road 2659 east of Hawkins. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress, and flaggers will control traffic.<\/p>\n

RUSK COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to continue several weeks of base and pavement repairs on Farm Road 95 between State Highway 315 and U.S. Highway 84 east of Mount Enterprise. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress and flaggers will control traffic. <\/p>\n

VAN ZANDT COUNTY – Texas Department of Transportation maintenance crews this week are scheduled to perform edge work on Farm Road 1652 between Farm Road 17 south of Grand Saline and Farm Road 1255.
