Officers conducted an operation to confirm beliefs the business owner at Cisneros Scrap, at 820 State Highway 135 North, was buying stolen property. KETK reports that based on evidence recovered in the sting, Jose Cisneros-Tamoyo, 60, was taken into custody. Authorities say they were able to develop the suspicion through interviews with a person or people who had committed scrap metal theft and other investigation techniques. The suspect was charged with felony theft and metal recyclers\/fail to furnish. Cisneros-Tamyo was booked into the Gregg County Jail. His bail was set at $5,000.
