According to KETK, so it is with a proposed section of Toll 49 known as the &#8220;East Texas Hourglass.&#8221;  The stretch of highway would run from south Tyler to north Marshall &#8212; going through a portion of East Texas&#8217;s oilfield along the way.   People responsible for exactly where the road goes say they&#8217;re looking at all environmental factors before they start pouring pavement.   They say as they develop the routes, they&#8217;ll do their best to miss important key features, one of which would be an oil well.
