The city hand been in negotiations with Longview Innkeeper LLC on the project. After an executive session of the Longview City Council yesterday, City spokesman Shawn Hara told the Longview News-Journal they planned to end the negotiations that began last year, but still move ahead with the idea to build a conference center along Interstate  20.
