It happened around 10:15 Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 69, about 5 miles north of Mineola. Dead at the scene was Michael Ray Neagle, 56, of Quitman. Injured was Edward Wilburn, 47, of Pecan Gap, Texas. The Department of Public Safety reports Neagle was northbound when he veered into the southbound lane. He was his by an 18-wheeler driven by Wilburn.
