Sheriff James Campbell says around 1:00 p.m. Monday, the deputy was driving through an intersection in Jacksonville when a driver ran a stop sign and was t-boned by the official.  KETK reports the deputy, who is not being identified at this time, suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle, but has since been released.
