Angelina County jail records show Ashley Wingo and Elisiah Phipps were being held Thursday on felony injury to a child charges. Online jail records don&#8217;t list attorneys for the pair, whose bond is $50,000 apiece. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s indictment involves an Oct. 22 incident. Lufkin police responded to an anonymous call about a child being beaten. Lt. David Young says police found Wingo and the injured girl hiding in a closet. The child was taken to a hospital. An affidavit says Phipps told police he used belts, switches and shoes to discipline the girl.
